Every day we are presented with 2 choices; Satan's FEAR or Christ's FAITH! The evidence is mounting in the case for FEAR. Every time we watch the news or survey personal circumstances and that of friends and loved ones, we are faced with a decision…Fear or Faith. This is not a decision we can afford to make through default because human nature naturally defaults to Fear. Fear shouts loudly, constantly vying for our attention. It seeks to rout us from our position of peace and resting in God's promises. The more we listen to the voice of fear, the more we begin to waver and eventually fall into unbelief. Faith on the other hand is not based on what we see or our senses. Faith is based on the concrete, indestructible, never failing and always true, Word of God. Faith is a childlikeness and innocence that is convinced of their “Daddy’s” love and believes that what “Daddy” God promises, He will do.

Heb. 10:23 declares, “Let us hold fast the profession of our Faith without wavering; for He is faithful Who promised.”Don’t hold “lightly” your profession or confession of faith. Get a firm grip on it! It is important what you believe and say. It is critical that we speak Faith not Fear in the day we live in. Don’t waver off into unbelief, hopelessness and depression. It is a place you don’t want to be. I have been there before and trust me when I say “you don’t want to go there!” Anchor yourself in God’s promises found in His Word. Don’t go wandering off with the world. Every undesirable circumstance and negative word must be filtered through faith in God and His Word.

Believe what you are “saying” when you profess your faith. Your faith will be securely grounded when it is based on the faithfulness of the One Who promised. He is a God of His Word. He cannot go against His Word. “God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?” (Num. 29:13)

I can’t afford to trust in myself to be full of faith or faithful. I know me and I have failed too many times. I CAN afford to trust the Lord Jesus Christ because He not only has never failed He CANNOT fail!!! He is Faith-ful. He is “full” of faith. If you stake your faith on your ability to be faithful or full of faith it will not only waver, but it will surely fail. We base our lives on the sure foundation of Christ’s faithfulness. “If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself.” (2 Tim. 2:13).

I choose to be Faith-full and not Fear-full!!!
