Philippians 3:14 "I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus."
We can run toward and strain after many things in this life. We can pressure ourselves to gain trophies, money, fame, success and acceptance. These things are temporary and subject to change. There is only one ultimate goal and prize that will last, the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
God calls us upward not down. If life has pulled you down and circumstances have depressed you, be still and hear His call to come up higher. Respond to His upward call. Make knowing Him your ultimate goal and prize. Everything else will line up and fall in place in your life as you put The Lord Jesus Christ and His upward call first place in your life. Let Him be the prize you seek and your life will be forever changed.
No matter where you are in life right now, no matter how bad things are or how bad you have messed things up, God has a good plan for your life, far beyond your wildest dreams. Seek Him and allow yourself to dream again.
